This release improves operational accuracy and driver communication by enhancing driver capacity visibility, strengthening CSV import logic, introducing configurable run start validation, and delivering more meaningful driver notifications. Accurate Driver Capacity Visualization for Overlapping Runs

We enhanced how the system calculates and displays driver capacity when multiple runs overlap.

What’s New?

• The system now detects overlapping runs assigned to a driver across time windows.
• The driver capacity bar displays the driver as unavailable (red) for the entire overlapping duration.
• No portion of overlapping time is shown as available, ensuring accurate visibility.
• Capacity updates automatically once overlaps are resolved (e.g., run reassigned or rescheduled).

Smarter CSV Trip Import with Enhanced Duplicate Detection

We improved the CSV import logic to better distinguish between true duplicates and valid new trips.

What’s New?

• Duplicate detection now considers:
  Passenger + Pickup Address + Dropoff Address + Pickup Time + Dropoff Time
• If pickup or drop-off time differs, the system creates a new trip instead of overwriting existing data.
• Exact matches (including times) are treated as duplicates and not re-created.
• The same duplicate detection rules apply within a single CSV file and across multiple uploads.
• Will Call trips (without times) bypass duplicate checks and are always created as new trips.
• Duplicate Will Call entries are flagged in the error log for visibility.

Configurable Driver App Run Start Validation

We introduced a tenant-level configuration to control how early drivers can start their runs.

What’s New?

• A new setting is available under Configurations → System Settings → Driver App → Run Start Validation.
• Admins can enable or disable early-start validation per tenant.
• A configurable Run Start Time Buffer (in minutes) defines how early a driver can start a run.
• The system calculates the earliest allowed start time based on this buffer.
• Default buffer is set to 30 minutes if not configured.
• Input validation ensures only valid values are accepted.

  • A trip is canceled
• Notifications now include key details such as:
  • Passenger name
  • Pickup and drop-off times (or ETA when not available)
  • Clear action context (e.g., Trip Assigned, Trip Removed)
