Spanish Language Support – Tobi Driver App

• Drivers can now use the Tobi Driver App in Spanish.
• Added full Spanish language support for core driver workflows.
• Drivers can switch between English and Spanish from the Driver App settings.
• All key screens, menus, and trip details screens now respect the selected app language.

1. Upon downloading the app, the Driver will be prompted to select the language in the App, and once the language preference is selected, every screen will be in Spanish. See below for examples

2. If the driver is already logged in, to change the language, click on the burger Menu and click the option highlighted to change the language

Language-Aware Navigation Directions (Driver Preferred Language)

• Navigation instructions now respect the driver’s preferred language.
• The Driver App now sends the driver’s selected app language (English en or Spanish es) in the Directions API request.
• If a driver has not explicitly set a language, Directions API requests default to English (en).
• Logged API requests clearly show the language parameter and its value for easier troubleshooting.
• Directions returned by the API are displayed in the driver’s selected language inside the Driver App.
• Backward compatibility is maintained for older app versions or services that don’t store driver language—those continue using English without failures.

Spanish Text & Label Corrections – Driver App

• We corrected several Spanish translations and labels based on client feedback.
• Updated “Upload Device Log” label to the correct Spanish translation: “Enviar registro del dispositivo” (previously shown incorrectly as one concatenated word).
• Standardized “Detalles del Viaje” on the current run screen to display in all caps (matching how it appeared in previous versions).

These fixes ensure more accurate, professional Spanish translations across the Driver App.
