We've released Driver App Version 6.7.0 on Thursday, October 09, 2025.
Session Stability, Route Display & Fairmatic Enhancements
This release focuses on improving overall app stability, refining driver experience, and strengthening backend reliability. Key updates include fixes for session expiry crashes, restored visibility of future route details in the Driver App, and enhanced backend handling to prevent redundant Fairmatic insurance initiation calls.
Key Highlights
Crash Handling Improvements:
- Fixed an issue where the app could crash if a user opened the Notes Dialog or navigated to the Map Instruction screen while the session was expiring in the background.
- The app now performs a safe cleanup and redirects users smoothly to the login screen, even if actions are triggered mid-session expiry.
- Improved session validation and error handling to prevent null pointer exceptions and ensure a stable user experience.
Schedule Screen – Route Expansion Fix:
- Resolved an issue where route details were not expanding for future dates on the Schedule screen in the Driver App.
- Drivers can now view all upcoming trips associated with future-dated routes by tapping the route card as expected.
Fairmatic – Redundant Call Prevention:
- Enhanced backend logic to ensure that only the first request to initiate Insurance Period in Fairmatic executes successfully.
- Any redundant or parallel initiation calls are now automatically ignored to prevent duplicate entries or overlapping insurance periods.
