Dispatchers can expect more reliable ETAs, better decision-making during planning, and routing outcomes that align with passenger requirements.

Enhanced ETA Calculation with Orion Algorithm

We introduced the new Orion ETA algorithm to improve accuracy, consistency, and reliability of ETA calculations across routing workflows.

What’s New?

• Route Planner now uses the new Orion ETA algorithm for all ETA calculations.
• ETAs automatically update based on the latest route structure and stop order.
• Adding or inserting trips (beginning, middle, or end) triggers accurate ETA recalculation.
• Multiple trip additions during route building consistently use the new algorithm.
• The system no longer shows outdated or stale ETA values from previous calculations.
• ETAs during run editing now include load and unload times, ensuring consistency before and after saving.

Improved Routing with Passenger Exclusion Compliance

We enhanced Orion routing to ensure it respects passenger-specific driver and gender exclusions.

What’s New?

• Orion now considers driver-specific exclusions configured on passenger profiles.
• Gender-based exclusions are applied during routing to ensure only eligible drivers are suggested.
• Trips are automatically marked as unsuggested if only excluded drivers are available.
• Clear messaging is provided when exclusions limit routing options.
• Exception drivers configured for a passenger are still considered when applicable.
• Drivers without defined gender are handled gracefully and can still be considered.
• Exclusion rules are evaluated alongside all other routing constraints (capacity, shift timing, vehicle compatibility, etc.).

Activity Logs Access from CIM Trips Screen

We improved usability by allowing direct access to trip activity logs from the CIM Trips screen.

What’s Improved?

• Dispatchers and admins can now view Activity Logs directly from the CIM Trips tab.
• Enhanced the View Activity Logs option so that selecting it now directly redirects users to the Activity Log screen, enabling quick and seamless access to trip history.
• Eliminates the need to navigate back to Operations and search for the trip.
