This release delivers major improvements to ETA recalculation reliability, new configuration controls for ETA thresholds, enhanced notifications for both Drivers and Dispatchers, UI updates for rider visibility, and fixes for route-sequencing ETA inconsistencies.

1. Global ETA Threshold Configuration

Administrators can now define a global threshold that determines when ETA recalculations should occur. Minor timing changes that fall within the threshold no longer trigger unnecessary recalculations, improving system efficiency and reducing routing overhead.

What’s New?

• A new threshold configuration is available in System Settings.
• ETA recalculation only occurs when pickup or drop-off time changes exceed the defined value.
• Live ETA Jobs now reference this threshold to decide whether recalculation is required.
• ETA updates below the threshold are ignored to prevent unnecessary adjustments.

2. Enhanced ETA Recalculation Logic

ETA recalculation is now more accurate and occurs only when meaningful operational changes happen.

What’s New?

• ETA now recalculates when pickup or drop-off time changes exceed the configurable threshold.
• ETA recalculates for any pickup or drop-off address change (address changes always trigger recalculation).
• The system persists the updated ETA only if the change exceeds the threshold.
• Small ETA variations within the threshold are safely ignored.

3.Driver Notifications for ETA Changes

Drivers now receive clearer, more detailed notifications whenever an ETA changes for a trip assigned to them

What’s New?

• Notification text now displays fully and includes passenger name, old time, and new time.
• “ETA RECALCULATED” now appears in uppercase in both push notifications and in-app notifications.
• Tapping the notification now shows the entire message, matching the push alert.

4. Dispatcher Notifications for ETA Changes

Dispatchers now receive automatic notifications whenever ETA changes occur across any routes they are managing.

What’s New?

• Notifications include route name, driver name, passenger name, and both old and new ETA values.
• Alerts communicate whether the pickup, drop-off, or both times changed.
• No notification is sent when a change is reverted or results in no actual ETA difference.

5. Visual Indicator for Additional Riders

Trips now display a clear visual count of additional riders, helping dispatchers better understand rider load and assign vehicles appropriately.

What’s New?

• Trips with extra riders now show a numeric indicator badge on the trip card.
• Rider count updates in real time without refreshing the screen.
• Indicator is visible consistently across:
  • Trips & Routes pane

6. Bug Resolution — ETA Not Updating After Pickup Time Change

A system issue prevented ETA recalculation after the first stop pickup time was updated.

What’s New?

• Changing the first stop’s pickup time now correctly recalculates ETA for all subsequent stops.
• Route timing now accurately reflects the updated start time.

7. Bug Resolution — Incorrect ETA After Reordering Stops

Rearranging stop order did not update ETA values correctly, leading to duplicate or illogical ETA times.

What’s New?:

• ETA now recalculates for every stop after any drag-and-drop reordering.
• All stops now display unique, sequential, and correctly calculated ETAs.
• Travel duration between stops is recalculated based on the new route sequence.
