Hey everyone!
We released Version 4.96.0 on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
This release focuses on improving pricing control, enhancing notification transparency for booking portal users, refining ETA recalculations on route changes, and addressing several key bugs related to recurring runs, route updates, and temporary route handling.
Key Highlights
Restrict Price Models Based on Rule Type
- The system now restricts price model selection according to rule type, ensuring billing configurations remain compliant and accurate.
- Price Models can only be applied when compatible with the associated pricing rule type.
- Prevents invalid or mismatched rule combinations during fare calculation.
E-Mail & Portal Notifications for Trip Rejection or Acceptance
- Booking Portal Admins are now automatically notified when a trip they created is accepted or rejected by dispatchers.
- When a trip is rejected from the Dispatch Portal, a real-time notification appears on the Booking Portal Notification screen.
- Enables booking portal users to respond quickly, contact dispatchers for clarifications, or make alternate arrangements.
- Enhances communication transparency between dispatchers and booking portal users.

ETA Update — Route Planner Screen
- The ETA calculation logic for runs has been refined to ensure data consistency after route modifications.
- When a trip is removed from a recurring run, the system now recalculates ETA data automatically.
- Prevents outdated or inaccurate timepoints from persisting in the planner view.
- Supports accurate re-planning and scheduling decisions.
Remove Bookings and Recurring Route Trips for Added Exclusion Periods
- Enhancements were made to handle Standing Order exclusions more accurately.
- When exclusion periods are added after a standing order is created, the system now automatically removes bookings and recurring route trips that fall within those exclusion dates.
- Ensures that recurring trips honor the latest exclusion rules without requiring manual cleanup.
- Delivers consistent schedule integrity for recurring runs.
ETA — Operations Screen
- Improvements to itinerary handling ensure that ETA values stay accurate even after manual route adjustments.
- When dispatchers shuffle the itinerary for a route or run card, the system now revalidates and updates ETAs in real time.
- Eliminates timing discrepancies that previously occurred after rearranging trips.
- Guarantees ETA accuracy across Operations and Driver views.
Bug Fix — Temporary Route Changing to Permanent on Edit
A critical issue was resolved where routes marked as “Pending Acceptance” were unintentionally being converted into permanent routes after itinerary edits.
Issue:
When dispatchers opened a “Pending Acceptance” route in edit mode and rearranged the itinerary, the route incorrectly changed status from temporary to permanent.
This also occurred when adding new trips to such routes.
Fix Implemented:
Routes now retain their temporary (Pending Acceptance) status even after itinerary changes.
No conversion to permanent route occurs unless explicitly confirmed by the dispatcher.
Ensures route lifecycle consistency between dispatcher and driver apps.
