We've released Driver App Version 6.3.0 on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Introduction of Driver Ride Summary, Time-gated “No-Show” option, Reminder for Seating & Equipment requirements for a route in the Driver App
This release brings powerful updates to the Driver App, focusing on transparency, safety, and preparedness. These improvements aim to support more accurate billing, safer driving, and smoother on-ground execution.
Key Highlights
Daily Ride Summary Recap - Completed Trips:
- Drivers can view the total fare earned, the number of trips, the miles driven, and the total time for the day.
- Completed trips show: route name, stops, start/end points, distance, duration, driver fare, and optional district charge.
- Cancelled trips appear under a separate tab.
Time-Gated No-Show Marking after Arrival:
- Countdown begins once the driver taps "Arrived at Location".
- “Mark No Show” option is only visible after X minutes.
- Arrival and no-show timestamps are logged for auditing.
Driver Chat Access Duration Post-Trip Completion:
- Default settings allow indefinite chat access unless configured for a specific time.
- This allows control over how long chat remains accessible to the driver post-trip completion.
- All changes are logged for audit purposes.
Mandatory Popup for Seating & Equipment requirements on Start Run:
- Triggered when a driver taps “Start Run.”
- Shows all required seats and equipment (e.g., booster seats, seatbelt locks) in a route.
