Driver Statuses
Available

The driver is free and ready to accept a new run.

When it appears: After a driver completes a run or comes back online, the system automatically sets their status to Available.
Available Offline

The driver's shift is active but they are not currently logged into the app. Dispatchers can still assign them a run, though the driver may not receive an instant notification.

When it appears: The driver is within their scheduled shift window but has logged out of the driver app or lost connectivity.
Clear Soon

The driver is still on a run but nearing the end of it. The system proactively flags them as a candidate for the next assignment.

When it appears: System predicts the current run will finish within a configurable time window (e.g., 10 minutes), such as when nearing the final drop-off.
Busy

The driver is actively executing a run — en route, picking up a passenger, or completing a drop-off.

When it appears: While the driver is executing any leg of an ongoing run.
Arrived

The driver has reached the pickup location and is on-site.

When it appears: After the app confirms arrival at the pickup point.
Enroute to Pickup

The driver has accepted a run and is actively navigating to the pickup location.

When it appears: After the driver accepts the trip and navigation begins toward the pickup address.
On Break

The driver has temporarily paused and is not accepting new runs. Break duration is configurable.

When it appears: Admin sets a break of N minutes (per config).
Manual mode: A dispatcher must approve or release the break.
Auto mode: The break resolves without dispatcher intervention.
Off Duty

The driver is outside of their scheduled shift. They cannot be assigned any runs.

When it appears: The driver has no active shift — either their shift hasn't started yet, has ended, or they have been marked unavailable.
