Creating a Standing Order
Table of Contents
A standing order allows you to schedule recurring transportation for passengers who travel on a regular schedule. Instead of creating each trip individually, you can create a recurring schedule that automatically generates future trips.
To create a new Standing Order
You can open the booking form in either of the following ways:
- Go to Operations > Book a Trip.
- Select the + icon from the Trips & Routes pane.
Create the Standing Order
- Enter the passenger information and any required trip details.
- Under Trip Information, enable the Standing Order toggle.
- Click on Add Recurring Details.

Note: A trip date must be entered before you can configure the recurring schedule.
Configure the Recurring Schedule
In the Recurring Details window, configure the standing order by selecting:
- The days of the week the trip should occur.
- The frequency of the recurrence (for example, weekly or every two weeks).
- Whether the standing order has an end date or continues indefinitely.

Add Exclusions
If the passenger will not require transportation on specific dates—such as during a vacation or school break—you can add those dates as Exclusions. Trips will not be generated for any excluded dates while the standing order remains active.

Save the Standing Order
- Select Save in the Recurring Details window.
- Back on the booking form, review the remaining trip information.
- Select Save to complete the booking and create the standing order.
Important: Saving the Recurring Details window does not create the standing order. You must also save the booking form for the recurring trips to be created.
Tips
- A standing order can be edited later if the passenger’s schedule changes.
- Use exclusions instead of ending the standing order when transportation is only paused temporarily.
- Verify the recurrence pattern before saving to ensure trips are generated on the correct days.
