Users can assign a trip multiple ways. All the options for assigning a trip are described below:

Option 1: Open suggestions via a keyboard command
 

• When the trip card is selected, the user must use a keyboard command to receive the driver suggestions in the Driver Pane.
  • Windows and Linux users: “Ctrl+D”
  • Mac users: “Cmd+D”

Option 2: Double-click on the trip or route card
 

• Users can double-click on the trip card and open the driver suggestion.

Option 3: Open suggestions from trip/route card action options
 

• On a selected trip/route card, the user must click on the 3-dot icon on the trip/route card for the "Suggest driver" option to generate the suggestion in the Driver Pane.

Drivers are suggested based on different factors like:

• Shift availability.
   
• Ability to reach pickup location on time.
   
• The vehicle has enough seating capacity and accommodates the seating.
   
• Driver has availability and they are not assigned to another run at the same time.
