This release introduces key enhancements across caregiver workflows, CSV import accuracy, service-type handling, trip-purpose reliability, and address-based load time logic. These improvements strengthen configuration flexibility, data integrity, and operational precision for dispatchers, caregivers, and back-office teams.
Key Highlights
Caregiver App – Configurable Trip Cancellation
What's Changed:
Trip cancellation via the Caregiver App is now configurable at the tenant level. A new backend setting allows organizations to enable or restrict the caregiver's ability to cancel trips based on operational policy.
Why this matters:
This change gives customers tighter control over ride-management permissions in the Caregiver App, reducing unauthorized cancellations and aligning the workflow with each tenant’s governance model.
CSV Import Enhancements – Booking-Level Service Type Mapping
What's Changed:
A major enhancement to the CSV import process now allows dispatchers to specify booking-level service types directly from the CSV file. The system supports:
- Service Type column recognition during CSV mapping.
- Case-insensitive matching to configured service types.
- Booking-level override even when the passenger has a service type stored in CIM.
- Dedicated error handling for unmapped or invalid service types.
- Booking-level service type visibility across the booking form and operations screens.
- No unintended CIM-level backfill or updates.
Why this matters:
This enhancement reduces manual corrections, eliminates dependency on CIM profile values, and ensures each booking reflects the correct service type exactly as intended during bulk imports.
Trip Purpose Correction – Incorrect Trip Purpose on CSV Import
What's Changed:
The system now correctly applies trip purpose during CSV imports, ensuring the booking form and trip card are consistent. An issue where bookings incorrectly defaulted to “Companion” despite the CSV specifying “Appointment” has been resolved.
- Service Type column recognition during CSV mapping.
- Case-insensitive matching to configured service types.
- Booking-level override even when the passenger has a service type stored in CIM.
- Dedicated error handling for unmapped or invalid service types.
- Booking-level service type visibility across the booking form and operations screens.
- No unintended CIM-level backfill or updates.
What's Improved:
- Root cause identified in trip-purpose override logic
- Correct mapping is now preserved across:
- Trip card on the Operations screen
- Booking form when editing the trip
- Eliminated discrepancies between CSV, trip card, and booking form.
Address-Based Load Times by Service Area
What's Changed:
Address-based load times can now be constrained to specific service areas. When enabled for only one service area, bookings outside that area will not use address-based load times.
How It works:
- If Address-Based Load Times = Enabled.
- And Service Area = Selected for this configuration.
- Then only bookings within Service Area use address-based load times.
- All other areas fall back to the default load time logic.
